Dr.S.Krishnaswamy
is a Writer-Producer-Director of TV Serials and Documentary
Films. He took his M.A. in Film & Television from
Columbia University, New York, in 1961, and later earned
his Ph.D. In 1964, he founded KRISHNASWAMY ASSOCIATES

Dr. S. Krishnaswamy was conferred the coveted Padmashree award by the President of India on 14th April 2009
At a time when most TV channels treat the audience as “consumers”, instead of as “citizens”, a not-for-profit initiative, Krishnaswamy Associates Media Renaissance (KAMR) has been registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act. To perform an extraordinary social and spiritual role in the transformation of India to a mature nation of the 21st century, KAMR will soon be launching KRISHNA TV, a Tamil and English TV Channel, under the leadership of its founders, Dr. S. Krishnaswamy and Dr. Mohana Krishnaswamy, and under the guidance of the Ramakrishna Math.
